Terrible, the reader does not work or fit well, he came split and broken

Note that slim Optical disc drives come in two thicknesses. 9.5mm and 12.5mm.

This one sold by this seller fits 9.5mm ODD.
I took the DVDRW ODD from a 2013 Toshiba laptop and installed it into this enclosure.

After studying the new front bezel, it became obvious how to detach the old Toshiba bezel and fit the new one.

In terms of READ speeds, the enclosure when connected to my Windows 10 laptop, reported 2.75 MBytes/sec when copying a huge file from DVDR disc to the SSD by Windows explorer.

I repeated the same test with same DVDR disc in my tower PC which has a half height high speed DVD-RW drive. Windows Explorer reported 12.5 MBytes/sec.
